Thursday, May 20, 2021 – 3:00 -5:00 pm. “Reconnecting to Community”
Presenter: Karen Edwards, Ph.D., Therapist, teacher, storyteller and workshop leader. The goals of this workshop are to enhance relationships with self and others in community and to decrease loneliness. Karen reminds us that like a vitamin deficiency, a human contact deficiency weakens the body, the mind and the spirit. This workshop addresses the healing of one of the diseases of our time, the fragmentation of the world into isolated parts. She will take us into explorations of how to build friendships and resilient community. This will be interactive through reflecting on personal experiences and practicing skills in break out rooms.
