Music Sunday is this Sunday (March 26)! Last week the FUUSN choir participated in a beautiful service at the UU Society of Wellesley Hills, and now we’re bringing the Lux Aeterna by Morten Lauridsen to FUUSN. “The five movements of Lux Aeterna are based on various references to light from sacred Latin texts…all supporting an earthbound spirit seeking not only mercy, understanding, and consolation but also renewal.” (Carol Talbeck) We will sing this lovely work accompanied by an instrumental ensemble; in addition, CreationDance will bring their piece “Healing Joy”; Lois Shapiro will play; and we will end with a rousing hymn accompanied by our bluegrass group. The Offering during Music Sunday will go to the FUUSN music program, so that we may continue to hire guest musicians to support our work in leading
