A Black History Event

“An Evening of Blacknificence” ~ A Black History Month Event sponsored by Newton Community Pride
in the FUUSN Sanctuary with a reception in the Parish Hall

An exploration of the impact of music, movement, and the spoken word from black churches to broader society. Reverend Devlin Scott of the NewCity Church is the evening’s host and moderator of a panel discussion featuring Reverend Alicia Johnson of Myrtle Baptist Church and other voices from the night. In partnership with the First Unitarian Universalist Society in Newton (FUUSN).
