It was with a strong sense of loss that we learned in September 2007 of the resignations of our beloved Senior Minister, the Reverend James Ford, and our beloved Director of Religious Education, Anne Bancroft. James will be leaving us at the end of the church year on August 31, 2008. The Board of Trustees immediately decided to communicate as much as possible about the transition process to the FUSN community and anyone looking at FUSN as their future religious home. This section of the website was created to help the communication process. Here you will find all documents related to the transition process as well links to helpful websites

In October 2007, a search committee was convened by the Board to find an interim minister. The committee is chaired by Treff Lafleche. Linda Rinearson, Phil Park, and Sue Allen are the other committee members.

In January 2008, the Board of Trustees was pleased to announce that Anne Bancroft accepted their offer to stay on as DRE for an additional year. Anne will be staying with us until June 2009. You can read the letter from Arthur Anderson, Board Chair, about this decision by clicking this link.
