Groups in Task Force:
Greater Boston Food Bank (http://gbfb.org) Eight FUSN trips per year to sort food for food pantries and soup kitchens. Judy Zacek
Habitat for Humanity (http://habitatboston.org) Volunteers build houses, community centers for low-income people. Barney Freiberg-Dale, Adrian Bishop
Newton Food Pantry (http://www.wabanlibrarycenter.org) provides emergency meals to families in the Newton area. Jackie Colby
Second Step (http://www.thesecondstep.org) A shelter for women and children who are victims of domestic violence. Mary-Ann Greene
Women’s Lunch Place (www.womenslunchplace.org) A monthly lunch bought, prepared, and served by FUSN volunteers to homeless women in Boston. Eileen Kurkoski
Waltham Homeless Project provides furniture, transportation to grocery store, and other help to women and children in Waltham shelter. Lynne Bail
Ecclesia Ministries (http://www.ecclesia-ministries.org) A Boston Ministry for the Homeless, where Coming of Age candidates and mentors learn and help the homeless during an overnight each year. Coming of Age Coordinators Brian and Dana Burba
Walk for Hunger (http://www.projectbread.org) for over 30 years, a FUSN team has walked 10 miles to raise money for food pantries and soup kitchens. Lynn Holbein
