Mission: Help those who are incarcerated re-vision their lives in a positive direction. Educate ourselves about life behind bars. Become advocates for a humane criminal justice system. Contact person: Linda Rinearson.

Partakers (http://www.partakers.org) College Behind Bars program: four FUSN teams have mentored four inmates as they studied for their college degrees while in prison. Linda Rinearson 

Prison Art Program 10-year-old weekly art class at the Northeastern Correctional Center in Concord. Lynn Holbein

Federal Prison in Devens  Monthly visits to inmates at the only federal prison in Massachusetts. Fiora Houghteling 

Alternatives to Violence Program (http://www.avpusa.org) A structured weekend course to help inmates learn to forgive themselves and resolve issues non-violently. Jim Emerson

Holiday Prison Gift Project Collection of items (toiletries, notebooks, etc.) as part of a project to provide 1,700 inmates in Concord with Christmas gifts. Sarah Conn and Mary Lou McArdle

Buddhist Project at Concord Prison A monthly meditation group in prison. Sarah Conn
