Youth Coffee House Supports Zambian Orphans

Sam Shereda and Brad Davis

Plan to buy your tickets—after services on February 22 or March 1, or at the door—for the 2015 Youth Coffee House on Saturday, March 7.

The event kicks off at 7:00 p.m. with music and comedy acts. Bands hit the stage from 9:00–11:00 p.m. in the FUSN Parish Hall.

Proceeds of tickets ($7 for youth; $13 for adults) and sales of snacks, tee shirts, aprons, and Zambian items benefit Communities, which supports AIDS Orphans and Vulnerable Children in a small township near Lusaka.

Early and late, the crowd enjoys the performers.Every Year Is a Blast!

The efforts of some 30 FUSN youth and five adults who serve on the leadership team, committees, and/or as performers make this event successful each year. More than 200 attendees buy tickets, food, beverages.

The Coffee House is pure entertainment! The acts include a capella groups, bands, comedy troupes, and musical performances by teenagers from Newton North and Newton South high schools. Two FUSN teens serve as MCs and engage the crowd with humor.
