Mission: Working with partner organizations to increase economic and social justice and power within low-income communities in Boston.

Groups in Task Force:

UU Urban Ministry (http://www.uuum.org) Provides tutoring, enrichment, college-prep, field trips and meals for under-served teens and school‐age children in Roxbury and other urban settings. Judy Friedman

Mather School At this racially and culturally diverse school in Dorchester, FUSN volunteers serve as tutors in classroom, sponsor drives for much needed supplies, and offer other support.  Cheryl Lloyd

Bikes Not Bombs (https://bikesnotbombs.org) Annual used bike drive at FUSN; bikes are repaired by inner city youth, and sold at low cost in Central America. Joyce Pollock

Louis D. Brown Peace Institute (http://www.ldbpeaceinstitute.org) Volunteers help organize and participate in the annual Mother’s Day Walk for Peace, which supports families impacted by violence.  Josie Greene
