Mission: Most social action rescues the victims of our flawed system. Advocacy aims to address and change the root causes of these problems, through education, grassroots activism, and by influencing legislators and other decision makers. Contact person: Peter Smith

UU Mass Action (http://www.uumassaction.org) brings together Massachusetts’ 20,000 Unitarian Universalists in 140 churches for coordinated Social Action.  Lynn Holbein

NAMI (National Alliance for Mental Illness) (http://www.nami.org) advocates for the mentally ill and their families. Nancy Stanton

Fund Our Communities, Not War (http://www.25percentsolution.com ) advocates reducing military spending to fund human needs. Nancy Wrenn

20/20 Action: (http://www.2020action.org)  20-minute actions each month for peace and the environment.  Peter Smith

Environment promotes the environment in our community through the Green Decade Coalition (http://greendecade.org) . Eric Olson 

UU United Nations Office (http://www.uu-uno.org)  and Coalition for a Strong U.N. promote peace, human rights and environmental sustainability through the United Nations. Peter Smith
